Another GREAT Southern Maryland Wedding Venue and one of our favorite roads to travel on for weddings is the long and gently winding paved road at Running Hare Vineyard.
Your own personal destination wedding
Traveling along the access road, you are suddenly transported to your own personal destination wedding, complete with a sense of being in your own little world, as it’s been described by so many of our brides and grooms. As you emerge from the trees you are treated to picturesque views of gently rolling hills covered with grape vines. This Southern Maryland wedding venue is set on 300 acres a villa sits atop a hill and when you are there you literally feel like you could be king or queen of the world.
There is something really special here, it is both a bride’s dream and a wedding photographer’s dream.
It’s has the feel of being set just outside a Tuscan village or in Napa Valley. The vines are beautiful and changes with the seasons.
Intimate weddings can be held in the portico during the week. Larger weddings on the weekends can enjoy the ballroom with a wide-open space and grand chandelier.
